Bertha Milovich, 92, Avid Golfer, Enjoyed Bowling, Reading and Travel

She was born in Lorain on September 5, 1918 and had been a life-long resident of the city.
Mrs. Milovich was employed for more than forty years as an assembler for the Bendix-Westinghouse Corporation in Elyria. She had previously been employed as a production specialist at Cleveland Bomber Plant during the war effort and in multiple capacities at the former Berger & Jacobs Hardware Store in Lorain.
She was a long-time parishioner of St. Vitus Catholic Church and was currently attending St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church. Bertha was an avid golfer and a member of the Oberlin Country Club. Additional interests included bowling, reading, and travel with a special fondness for trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Mitchell "Mitch", by her sister-in-law Dorothy Brletic, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Anna (nee Looks) Brletic, by brothers Steve, Joseph, and William, and by sisters Anna Potts, Catherine Brletic, and Mildred Brletic.
Visitation will be Sunday fro 2 p.m to 6 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be Monday beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church, 2143 Homewood Drive. The Reverend John C. Retar, Pastor of the parish will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
