Wanda N. Mishak, 87, Enjoyed Card Parties, Bingo and Baking

She was born April 16, 1923 in Elyria. She moved to Lorain in 1955.
Mrs. Mishak retired in 1988 as a Kitchen Helper at Palm Avenue School. She worked for the schools for 12 years.
Wanda was a member of Saint Frances Xavier Parish at Saint Johns Roman Catholic Church, Lorain. She was a member of the parish's Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed card parties and bingo, baking, and walking Oakwood Park.
She will be deeply missed by her son John W. (Nancy) and James S. (Kristine) Mishak both of Amherst; grandchildren Matthew A. (Rachel), Marcus A., Adam J. (Susan), Shawn C. and Juliet M. Mishak, Rachael K. (Rick) Delserone, Timothy A. and Thomas A. Cassidy, Terry L. (Dennis) Bell, Traci L. (Jason) Hildum, Greg and Daniel Zadorozny, Tamara Vitale and Lindie Keough; 12 great grandchildren including Tessa Gomez. She leaves many nieces nephews and Frank Chiorazzi other special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband 53 years Walter J. Mishak in 1996; her parents John and Veronica (née Waszukaniec); a daughter Linda Zadorozny; brothers John, Henry and Frank Metera and sisters Rose Rowell and Jenny Eldridge.
Her family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164. Where Closing Prayers will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. the 10 a.m. in Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Frances Cabrini Parish, Grove Avenue (Rout 57) and Homewood Avenue, Lorain, Rev. Father John C. Retar Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
