Zettie Maye Weekley, 76, Enjoyed Country Cooking, Traveling and Reading

Born in Kingwood, West Virginia, on October 6, 1934, she had been a resident of Lorain for more than sixty years.

Zettie was a fan of the Home Shopping Network who also enjoyed country cooking. Additional interests included travel, and reading with a special interest in detective romance novels.

Survivors include her daughters Joyce Pratt (Chuck) of North Ridgeville, and Patricia Kelly of Lorain, her son Terry Allen Weekley of Elyria, along with four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and her half-brother Martin Proffitt of Cleveland.

She was preceded in death by her husband Earl F. Weekley in 2005, by her son Earl R. Weekley, and by her parents Martin Lee and Minnie Pearl (nee Daniels) Proffitt.

Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
