Jerry L. Bare, 58, Production Assistant

He was born in Lorain on January 21, 1953 and had been a resident of Amherst Twp for the past 30 years.

Jerry was a graduate of Admiral King High School as a member of the Class of 1971. For the past 39 years he has been employed as a production assistant with the United States Steel Corporation and was currently a member of United Steelworkers Local # 1104.

He was an avid outdoorsman who was a member of the Erie County Gun Club. Jerry was also interested in radio-controlled model aviation.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years Carole A. (nee Haller), by daughter Kristen (Michael) Klintschenko of Lorain, by grandchildren Bradley, Sierra, and Emily, by his brother Dale Bare of Elyria, and by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Junior and JoAnn Haller of Lorain.

Mr. Bare was preceded in death by his parents Winston and Helen (nee Black) Bare, and by his brother William.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain.
