Kevin L. Zemantauski, 46, Enjoyed Woodworking and Restoring Camaro
Kevin L. Zemantauski, age 46, of Lorain, passed away at his home on Monday, August 1, 2011.He was born in Lorain on May 13, 1965 and remained a life-long resident of the city.
Kevin was a 1983 graduate of Southview High School where he was a member of the varsity wrestling team. He went on to receive an Associate’s Degree from Lorain County Community College in the area of Computer Engineering.
In his free time Kevin enjoyed the companionship of his pet Alaskan Malamute, Kedan. Additional interests included woodworking, playing darts, and restoring his 1968 Chevrolet Camaro.
Survivors include his mother Margaret Zemantauski (nee Stankura) of Lorain, his sister Nancy Jackson (Richard) of Carlisle Township, his brother Joseph W. Zemantauski, Jr. (Kathleen) of Independence, his girlfriend Janice May and her son Ryan residing in Streetsboro, along with three nephews, one niece, three great nephews, one great niece, and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph W. Zemantauski, Sr. in 2006 and by his sister-in-law Pamela Zemnantauski (nee Durnell) in 2007.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 10:30 a.m., in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. The Reverend John C. Retar, Pastor of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
