Michael D. Close, 57, Enjoyed riding his motorcycle
Michael D. Close, 57, of Seven Hills and formerly of Lorain, died Monday August 1, 2011.
He was born November 14, 1953 in Elyria and had resided in Seven Hills for the past 4 years moving from Lorain where he had lived most of his life.
Michael was a 1971 graduate of Admiral King High School in Lorain.
For the last 11 years, he worked as a Supervisor of Security for Guardsmark at the Ford Motor Company Stamping Plant in Walton Hills.
Michael enjoyed riding his motorcycle and tattooing.
He is survived by his mother Anne K. Close (nee Bruck) of Lorain, brothers Eugene H. Close, Jr of Sheffield Lake, Patrick R. Close of Clearwater, Florida, Eric R. Close of Lorain and Timothy J. Close of Bessemer, Michigan and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Eugene Hugh Close, Sr in 1985.
The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3655 Oberlin Ave, Lorain. The Rev. Craig Hovanec, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain.
