Carmen N. Torres, 49, Loved her Granddaughters

Carmen was born December 20, 1961 in Lares, Puerto Rico. She came to Lorain in 1966. She worked in the kitchen at Bob Evens in Amherst and worked for Kmart Super Center, Lorain. Carmen loved her grand daughters, and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

Carmen will be deeply missed by her husband of Ten years Carmelo Torres of Lorain: son Jaime (Lisa) Lopez of Lorain; daughters; Migdalia and Angela Gonzalez both of Lorain; granddaughters Angela Lopez and Alexandra Lopez; brother Alberto Lopez of Cleveland; sisters Elizabeth Lopez of Hartford, Connecticut, Epifania Santiago of Lorain, Evelyn Quiles of Ciedra, Puerto Rico.

She was preceded in death by her parents Juan and Gloria (née Acevedo) Lopez and her uncle Jose Lopez.

Her family will receive friends Monday 4 to 8 P.M. in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164. Carmen’s funeral will be Tuesday at 10 A.M. in the funeral home. Rev. Cliff Morris pastor of Lakeview Baptist Church, Vermilion will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
