Ines Cruz, 79, Enjoyed socializing, dancing and music
Ines Cruz 79 of Lorain passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011 in Autumn Aegis Nursing Home, Lorain following a lengthy illness.
She was born February 28, 1932 in Guayama, Puerto Rico. She came to Lorain in 1972.
Ines was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain. She enjoyed socializing with her friends at church, dancing and music.
She will be missed by her nephew Julio Santiago, Jr. of Lorain; niece Elizabeth Colon of Harker Heights, Texas; brother-in-law Julio Santiago of Lorain and great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded by her parents Juan Cruz Tirado and Carmen Rivera; her sister Pompilia Santiago in 2006.
Her family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 8 P.M. in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164. Her funeral will be Saturday at 10 A.M. in the funeral home. Rev. Mr. Juan "Rocky" Ortiz of Sacred Heart Carpel, Lorain will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
