Mary B. Kacher-Fulton, 98, Enjoyed Gardening & Crocheting

Photo of Mary B. Kacher-Fulton Mary B. Kacher-Fulton, 98, of Lorain, died Wednesday December 7, 2011 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home in Lorain.

She was born August 13, 1913 in Lorain to Frank and Sophia Kowalski and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Mary worked at the Corinthian Restaurant for 30 years. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Lorain and served on the Flower and Communion Committees at the church.

Mary was a member of St. John/Holy Trinity Lodge #228 and the Jednota. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years Clyde W. Fulton, children Natalie Findish (George) of Lorain, Ernest Kacher (Detna) of Porter, Texas and Albert Kacher (Lynne) of Heber City, Utah, stepchildren June Rimmey (Jim) of State College, Pennsylvania, Karen Anderson of Connecticut and Kirk Fulton of Rochester, New York, 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband John E. Kacher in 1967, parents Frank and Sophia Kowalski (nee Boroski), sisters Helen Kallis and Julia Skorupski and brothers Peter, Joseph and George Kowalski.

Friends may call Friday, December 9th, from 4-8 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Karen Hollingsworth, pastor of Faith United Methodist Church in Lorain, officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
