Juan Antonio Vega, 80, Enjoyed Cooking & Music
Juan Antonio Vega, 80, of Lorain passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in Rae-Ann Nursing Home in Westlake, Ohio, following a long illness.
He was born in Ciales, Puerto Rico, September 14, 1931. He came from Bayamon, Puerto Rico in 1997. He worked as a self-employed Taylor.
He attended Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain. He enjoyed cooking, music, dancing and maintaining his home. He was very respected and strict father.
He will be missed very much by his wife of 25 years Carmen Ortega; sons Orlando Torres and Juan (Maria Santana) Torres of Lorain; daughters Gladys (Angel) Rodriguez and Maritza (Reno Siguencia) Torres of Lorain; two brothers, three sisters, 12 grandchildren and two great granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents Luis Vega and Rita Negron and a brother.
His family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 9 PM in the Richard J Reidy funeral home, 1783 E. 31st St., South Lorain, (440) 277-8164. Where his funeral service will be Saturday at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Rev. Mr. Juan" Rocky" Ortiz Deacon of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery Lorain.
