Lewis Joel Kincer, 63, Avid Outdoors Man

Photo of Lewis Joel Kincer Lewis Joel Kincer, 63, of Lorain passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at his home, unexpectedly.

Mr. Kincer was born in Kona, Kentucky on April 22, 1948, the son of the late Ralph L. and Della (nee Webb) Kincer.

His family moved to Lorain 1959. He was a graduate of Clearview High School with the Class of 1966. He served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War.
He attended the Broadway Assembly Church.

Mr. Kincer was a retired machinist with the former Ideal Machines in Lorain and worked part-time with Stolicky Machining in Lorain.

He was an avid outdoors man, enjoyed traveling, cooking, fishing and old cars.

Mr. Kincer is survived by his wife Judith E. (nee Sass) Kincer, sisters, Glenda (James) Watson of Gettysburg, PA, Teresa A. (Roger) Prihoda, Anna M. Yuhas, both of Lorain, Francine A. (Rodger) Boucher, of Norwalk, Alicia L. (Shawn) Justice, Rhonda "Renee" Rider both of Vermilion, brothers Douglas G., (Peggy) Kincer of Fostoria, Jerry W. (Gina) Kincer, Harold G. (Vickie) Kincer, Brian A, (Tammy) Kincer all of Lorain, 29 nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the Broadway Assembly Church, 5495 S. Broadway Ave., Lorain at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Rodger Boucher, associate pastor of Church Of God, Castalia officiating.

Visitation and burial was at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery near Rittman with full military services, earlier.
