Emma Muniga, 95, Secretary & Homemaker

Photo of Emma  Muniga Emma Muniga, 95, (nee Deptula) of Lorain passed away on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Mercy Regional Medical Center In Lorain following a lengthy
illness.

Mrs. Muniga was born in Lorain on October 4, 1916, the daughter of the late Teofil and Jennie (nee Nejman) Deptula. A 1934 graduate of Lorain High, she was a secretary and most recently a homemaker.

She was a member of the Polish Club's Drill Team and collected Lorain High
School's yearbooks from 1900-1950.

Mrs. Muniga is survived by a sister Dolores Mitzel of Olmsted Falls.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry
Muniga in 1984, a daughter Deanna VanMeter in 1989 and a sister Virginia
Deptula.

Friends may call on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 11:00 am until services at noon in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain. The Rev. Dr. Bradley J Donahue, pastor of the Christian Temple, officiating. Entombment in Calvary Cemetery Lorain will be private.

The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the
Salvation Army, 2506 Broadway Ave., Lorain, Ohio 44052.
