Michael Paslawski, 58, Avid Cleveland Sports Fan
Michael Paslawski 58, of Lorain passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 in his home following a brief illness.
He was born August 13, 1953 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident.
He graduated from Admiral King High School in 1973, where he played football. He worked at Lorain Ford Assembly Plant and P. C. Campana Co. in Lorain and was working most recently for Lorain Street Department. He belonged to Saint John United Church of Christ, Lorain.
He was an avid Cleveland Sports Fan and enjoyed NASCAR He volunteered for political campaigns and festivals. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 34 years Debra (nee Smithberger)
Paslawski of Lorain; Son Michael (Nicolette) Paslawski, Jr. of Lorain;
daughters Jenny Uleski, Erica and Michelle Paslawski all of Lorain; his
mother Maria (nee Zukunft) Paslawski of Lorain; brother Peter (Paula)
Paslawski of Lorain; sister Kathy Rios of Lorain and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Andres Paslawski.
His family will receive friends Monday from 4 until time of his funeral
service at 6 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street,
South Lorain (440) 277-8164. Rev. Father Steven M. Paliwoda, pastor of Saint John Ukrainian Catholic Church, Lorain will officiate.
