William R. Greve, 65, Pipefitter With Local #120
William R. Greve, 65, of Sheffield Lake, died Thursday March 1, 2012 at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain after a short illness.
He was born February 9, 1947 in Cleveland and had resided in Sheffield Lake since 1977.
William worked as a Pipefitter for Pipefitters Local #120 in Cleveland. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed shooting pool, playing the lottery and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children Richard Greve (Karen) of Lorain and Bethellen Greve of Sheffield Lake, grandchildren Justin, Kathrine and Zackary, great granddaughter Ixreya and ex-wife Arlene Hritsko (James) of Sheffield Township. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Maryjane Greve.
The family will received friends Monday 6-8 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Monday at 8:00 pm in the funeral chapel. The Rev. Robert Daugherty will officiate.
