Teodoro Alick, 86, Avid New York Mets Baseball Fan

He was born June 7, 1925 in Puerto Rico and had resided in Lorain since 1972 moving from Manhattan, New York.
Teodoro worked for Sheraton Hotels in New York for 28 years. When he moved to Lorain he worked at the Ford Assembly Plant for 4 years retiring in 1976.
Teodoro was an avid New York Mets baseball fan. He loved listening to Spanish Radio music, socializing with family and friends and playing dominoes.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Teresa Alick (nee Carrasquillo), children Louis Conde and Arlene Agosto, both of Lorain, Ivette Plaza of Vacaville, California, Teodoro Otero, Jr of Puerto Rico and Bobby Otero of Louisville, Kentucky, 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brother Jimmy Alick of Florida and sister Leticia Maldonado of New York. He was preceded in death by his daughter Estelle Alick in 2008 and sisters Emelia Suarez, Julia Collazo and Eva Velez.
The family will receive friends Wednesday 5-8 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 12:00 pm in the funeral chapel. The Rev. Theodore Wilson II, chaplain of Crossroads Hospice, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
