Timothy "Tim" M. Stephanchick, 54, Avid Prankster & Bird Watcher

He was born Feb. 7, 1958 in Lorain, Ohio to Thomas Michael Stephanchick & Lovey Mary Stephanchick (nee Churnashuk).
Tim worked at MPI Labels as the General Operations Manager. He was an active member and officer in Optimist International where he participated in the 'Bike Roundup'. He coached Youth Baseball at Oregon Park for 10 years.
He loved pulling pranks on people and was a man with a 'Big Heart' who was always generous. He created stained glass and enjoyed gardening and bird watching. He loved to cook and to carry on 'Traditions' and loved music, especially 'The Temptations'. He was a member of the Catholic Faith.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 31 plus years Jane Stephanchick (nee Kretovics) of Greenbrier, TN; son, T. L. Stephanchick (Ashley Sweeney) of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Kara Stephanchick of Greenbrier, TN; brother, Russell Stephanchick of Akron; and sister, Diane Bender of Greenbrier, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Mark Bender.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 pm at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel, 2619 Highway 41 South, Greenbrier, TN. Additional viewing time will be held Saturday from 10-11 am at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. A graveside service will follow on Saturday at 11:30 am at Calvary Cemetery, 555 N. Ridge Rd, Lorain. The Rev. Craig Hovanec, pastor of the Church of St. Peter in Lorain, will officiate.
