William "Little Willie" Puskas, 90, Enjoyed Gardening

Photo of William William Puskas "Little Willie" 90 of Spring Hill, Florida formerly of Elyria, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 after a long illness.

He was born January 18, 1922 in Stephenson, Michigan. He came to Lorain County a boy.

"Mr. P" worked at U. S. Steel Lorain Works for 43 and a half years. He retired in 1981 a crane operator in the rolling mill.

He was a member of the Toledo Road Church of Christ , Lorain for 68 years and was a member of Spring Hill Church of Christ. Mr. P enjoyed gardening for many years. He spent his retirement woodworking and fishing every day.

He is survived by his daughter Missy (Reineiro, whom he considered a son) Medina with whom he made his home for the past 10 years; son Kenneth Puskas of Elyria; sisters Dolores Yonkings; Margaret Bowers and Louise Ellison all of Elyria and Viola Vanche of Lorain; brother George "Sonny" Puskas of Sullivan, Ohio; sister in law Alma Norris of Spring Hill; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces, friends and a "adopted granddaughter" Alema Caporale of North Ridgeville.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 and a half years Evelyn "Miss Evelyn" Puskas (née Norris); his parents George and Elizabeth (née Stumphauser) Puskas and a baby brother Ernie Puskas.

His family will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 8 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164. Where his funeral service will be Monday at 10 AM. Mr. James Hister will officiate. Burial will follow in Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
