Mary L. Simulcik, 78, Bingo Enthusiast

Mrs. Simulcik was born in Schoharie, New York on July 8, 1933 and had been a resident of Amherst since moving to Ohio in 1950.
She was a retired school bus driver for the Amherst Exempted Village School District.
Well known as a bingo enthusiast, Mary received the most enjoyment from her relationship with her husband, children, and extended family. Always on the go she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years Joseph, by daughters Kathleen of Amherst, Elaine of Elyria, Iona of Virginia, and Angela residing in North Carolina, by sons Philip of Lorain, Thomas and Paul both of Elyria, David of Vermilion, and John of Amherst. She also leaves 22 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and brothers John and William both residing in New York.
She was preceded in death by her son Joseph Simulcik, Jr., by her grandson Philip Simulcik, Jr., by her parents Leroy and Beatrice (nee Schrom) Lawyer, and by her sisters Peg and Eleanor Jake.
A private family gathering was observed Friday in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, Lorain.
