Dorothy B. Saladin, 85, Enjoyed Spending Time With Family

Mrs. Saladin was born in Moberly , MO on June 25, 1926, the daughter of the late William E. and Effie Davis (nee Lloyd) Ray. She was a member of St Mary Church in Lorain.
She worked as a monitor in the Lorain City Schools, from 1966 until retiring in 1987. Previous to that, she worked as a sales clerk at the former Klines Department Store during the 1960's.
Mrs. Saladin was a former member of the Lorain Professional Business Women's Association, Lorain High School PTA, and was a volunteer at Lakeland Eye Surgeons at Cleveland Clinic in Lorain. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by daughters, Renee A. Saladin Kershaw of Lorain, Ohio, Kellie J (Thomas Miller) Saladin, of Columbus, sons Brooke A (Midori) Saladin, of Winston Salem, NC; Chad T (Christine) Saladin of Lorain, grandchildren, Stacy A. Wooten, Mackenzie L. Kershaw, Sean A. Saladin, Mason S. Miller, great grandchildren Katherine G. Wooten, Jack W. Wooten and a brother Kenneth Ray of Colorado.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Saladin was preceded in death by her husband Harold "Hal" or "Bud" in 2005, Brothers: William E. Ray, Jr., George Martin Ray, Raymond Ray, Jerry W. Ray, sisters: Earla Dean Smith, Vivian Siegel, and Edith Brown.
Joint graveside services for Mrs. Saladin and her husband Hal will be held at a later date in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio
