Ella Y. Bahn (nee Koleszar), 93, Avid Cleveland Sports Fan

She was born in Lorain on December 20, 1918 and remained a life-long resident of the city.
A parishioner of the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Lorain , Ella was formerly employed as an inspector for the Joseph & Feiss Company.
Mrs. Bahn was an avid fan of all Cleveland professional sports franchises and also enjoyed league bowling as well as solving word search puzzles in her free time.
She is survived by her daughter Karen Bahn (Bob Brucker) of Lorain, daughter Shelley Mihajlovich of Lorain, son Ron (Shirley) Bahn of New London, son Jonathan (June) Bahn of Lorain, daughter Loretta Schobel (Joe) of Lorain, and daughter Diane Wilson of Elyria. She also leaves eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and her brother Steve Koleszar of Lorain .
Ella was preceded in death by her husband Frank in 1994, by her grandson Pete Nechovski, by sons-in-law David Mihajlovich and Carl Wilson, by her parents Steve and Helen (nee Bodnar) Koleszar, and by her sister Helen Horchik.
Visitation will be Friday May 18th from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave. , Lorain . Funeral services will begin Saturday May 19th at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Avenue , Lorain . The Reverend Craig M. Hovanec, pastor of St. Peter Parish will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park , Amherst Township .
