Stacey L. Harrington (nee Wachholz), 37, Avid Cleveland Sports Fan

She was born May 15, 1975 in Grand Forks, North Dakota and raised in Lorain. Stacey graduated from Admiral King High School in 1993. She was studying Web Graphic Design at Lorain County Community College. She operated an online digital scrap booking design website business.
Stacey was a member of Saint Joseph Church, Lorain until its closing. She was an avid Indians and Browns fan. Stacy was a volunteer team organizer for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life. She loved being involved with her son’s activities.
She will be dearly missed by her husband of 16 years David J. D. J. Harrington, Jr. of Vermilion; son Shaun M. Harrington at home; father David J. Wachholz and her mother Genie M. Wachholz (née Cochran) both of Lorain; brother Kristopher (Vicki) Wachholz of Lorain; maternal grandparents George and Helen Cochran of Lorain and a niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Joseph and Olga Wachholz.
Her family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164. Stacey’s funeral will be Wednesday at 11 AM in the funeral home. Deacon Luis Maldonado of Saint Mary Church Lorain will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Garden, Avon.
