Ryan Lee Smith , 30, Fan of Music & The Cleveland Browns

Photo of Ryan Lee Smith Ryan Lee Smith, age 30, of Lorain , passed away unexpectedly on Sunday June 17th, 2012.

He was born in Elyria on January 9, 1982 and had been a life-long resident of Lorain. Ryan attended both Clearview High School and Admiral King High School.

He was presently employed as a production assistant at Riddell All American in Elyria and had previously worked as a warehouseman at the Pepsi Cola distribution plant also in Elyria.

He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns who enjoyed all forms of music, especially country.

He is survived by his daughter Madison Robles of Elyria, by his mother Cindy (Ronnie) Board of Lorain, by his father Ron (Gail) Smith residing in Savannah, Ohio, by sisters Savannah Smith and Marcia Board both of Lorain, and Jessica Meadows serving with the United States Air Force in Italy. He is also survived by his brothers Ryan Board of Toledo and Luis Board of Lorain, along with nephews Andrew Torres, and Braylon Board, and niece Kaiden Smith.

Ryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Donna Leazier in 2003, by his paternal grandfather Birtchel Smith in 2007, by his paternal grandmother Loudene (nee Sizemore) Smith in 2006, and by his aunt Debbie Konieczny in 1999.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue , Lorain where funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. The Reverend Danny Parsons will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township .

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the funeral home to assist them in defraying the cost of funeral and burial expenses.
