Carmelo DeJesus-Arroyo Sr. , 64, Enjoyed House Painting & Fishing
Carmelo DeJesus-Arroyo Sr., age 64 of Lorain died Wednesday June 20, 2012 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph. He was born February 16, 1948 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, and has lived in Lorain for 31 years moving from New Jersey.
Carmelo was a member of Tabernaculo Christiano in Lorain, and enjoyed house painting, gardening, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years Lydia Figueroa-DeJesus, sons Carmelo Jr. and Moses of Louisville, KY and Adrian of Lorain, and daughters Sally “Bernal” of Louisville, KY, and Brenda DeJesus of Puerto Rico, grandchildren Isabel and Liza DeJesus and Domenic Bernal, brothers Mario, Eliot, and Nelson DeJesus-Arroyo, and sisters Sara Soto and Sarita Wolfe.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gregory and Rufina DeJesus, and a brother Tony.
Visitation will be Monday June 25th from 6 PM till time of service at 7 PM at Christian Tabernacle International Church, 2203 Meister Rd. Lorain.
Apostle Rev. David Figueroa will officiate. Burial will be Wednesday at 1 PM in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
