Lorene C. Diesel, 96, Will Be Missed Deeply
Lorene C. Diesel, 96, (nee Harrison) of Lorain passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012 at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph following a brief illness.
Mrs. Diesel was born on Feb. 13, 1916 in Concord, Kentucky, the daughter of the late William H. and Hattie H. (nee Burr) Harrison. She was a graduate of the Jolly High School in California, Ky. She became a Lorain resident in 1937.
In April 1945, Mrs. Diesel joined the Emmanuel United Methodist Church and has remained active in church activities.
Mrs. Diesel is survived by her close friends and caregivers Janet and Richard Dzambik, her pastor Rev. Charles Howard and many friends and acquaintances.
On March 17, 1995, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond.
Friends may call on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 10:00 am until funeral services at 11:00 am in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain. The Rev. Charles Howard will officiate.
Burial will be Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Maysville and Mason County Cemetery, in Maysville, KY.
