Juanity G. Mavros, 73, Retired Nursing Assistant

Juanita G. Mavros (nee Canter), 73, of Euclid, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Senior Independence Hospice in Euclid following a brief illness.

She was born in Jackson, OH on July 26, 1938, a daughter of the late Elijah and Lucille (nee Perry) Canter.

Mrs. Mavros was a retired nursing assistant for Sprenger Retirement Centers.

Juanita is survived by a son Charles D. (and partner Wesley) Mavros of Euclid, daughters Cheryl L. (Dale) Mavros-Suppa of Lorain, Laura J. (Steven) Sopko of Akron, grandsons Christopher and Steven, granddaughters Gina, Amber, and Gabrielle, brothers Gene, Kenny, and Bob Canter, sisters Irene Skidmore, Darlene Gallaher, Louise Singer, and Donna Bruce, and many neices and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles H. Mavros, grandson Rickey Konzelman, and brothers Paul and John Canter.

Friends may call on Thursday June 28, 2012 from 5-9 pm at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.

Funeral services will be Friday June 29, 2012 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
