Pina R. Finlayson , 71, Enjoyed Spending Time With Family & Friends

Pina R. Finlayson, 71, (nee Moore) passed away on on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in West Bay Care and Rehabilitation Center in Westlake following a long illlness.

Mrs. Finlayson was born in Sciotoville on June 10, 1941, the daughter of the late William F. and Cora M. (Bush) Moore.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sheffield Lake; where she volunteered on the Hospitality Committee working in the kitchen. She attended bible study, regularly.

Mrs. Finlayson was employed at Anchor Lodge as a STNA and retired 1991. She also had been a STNA at Ohio Extended Care and held a beauticians license. She was a member and past president of the American Legion Auxilliary Unit # 30.

She enjoyed trips to Las Vegas, reading, garage sales, but especially spending time with grandchildren, family and friends.

Mrs. Finlayson is survived by her husband of 48 years, James N. Finlayson, three daughters Teresa C. Goins, Debra M. Thompson both of Lorain, Jodi L Finlayson of Amherst, son, James N Finlayson Jr. of Elyria, 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sisters, Garnet Phillebaum of Middletown, Betty Lawhorn of Sheffield Village, Patricia (Fred) Rosso, Sue (Charles) Frizzell all of Lorain, and her beloved dog "Angel Baby."

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Carrie Beard, Faye Webb, and Helen Horton.

Friends may call on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 6-9 pm. at the First Baptist Church of Sheffield Lake, 633 Harris Road, Sheffield Lake or on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 9:00 am till services at 10:00 am in the church. The Rev. Kiel Nunn, senior pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Garden, Avon.
