Lillian H. Henry, 84, Enjoyed Cooking & Studying Biblical Scriptures
Lillian H. Henry, 84, (nee Sharog) of Lorain passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012, at Mercy Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mrs. Henry was born in Lorain on May 1, 1928, the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (nee Nagy) Sharog.
She was a graduate of Lorain High School, Class of 1946A and a member of the National Honor Society.
She attended the Hungarian Reformed Church and Family Fellowship Church.
Mrs. Henry was retired as a deputy registrar with Lorain County Recorder's Office and had worked for many years in the general business office of the Lorain Steel Plant.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star-Queen City Chapter # 66, Busy Martha Group and Caring Circle at the Hungarian Reformed Church and was a member of the Encouragers Group at Family Fellowship Church.
Mrs. Henry enjoyed cooking Hungarian food, attending Family Hungarian Bacon Roasts, sewing, and studying biblical scriptures.
She is survived by her son David J. Henry of Lorain.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Marlin Y. Henry in 2003, a daughter Debra J Sahr in 2003 and a brother Robert Sharog.
Friends may call at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain on Sunday, August 12, 2012 fro 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Eastern Star will conduct a memorial service on Sunday at 7:00 p.m..
Funeral services will be on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township, Ohio.
