Steven L. Pruchinsky, 39, Devoted Tattoo Artist
Steven L. Rico Pruchinsky, 39, of Elyria, died Saturday September 1, 2012.
He was born November 9, 1972 in Amherst and had been a lifelong Elyria area resident.
Rico worked as a tattoo artist and roofer in the area. He attended Lorain County Community College and enjoyed spending time with his cousins, nieces and nephews. Rico always said, He won’t die until his last tattoo is gone.
He is survived by his son Steven L. Pruchinsky, Jr. of Elyria, mother Doreen (Masoud) Al-Ameeri of Elyria, brothers Michael (Jackie) Al-Ameeri of Amherst, Jassim Al-Ameeri of Elyria and Jason Maldonado of California, sisters Mariam Al-Ameeri of Kuwait and Stephanie Maldonado of California and paternal grandparents Louis and Marie Maldonado of Lorain. He was preceded in death by his father Estaban Maldonado, girlfriend Angela Brown, maternal grandparents Jacob and Connie Pruchinsky and cousins Preston Hall and Derick Garcia.
The family will receive friends Thursday 2-4, 6-8 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:00 pm in the funeral chapel. The Rev. Danny Parsons, pastor of Church of the New Harvest in Elyria, will officiate. Cremation will follow.
