Hannah Kutza, 97, Loving Mother & Homemaker

Photo of Hannah  Kutza Hannah Kutza (née Coxon), 97, of Lorain passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 in Autumn Aegis Nursing Home, Lorain.

She was born October 11, 1914 in New Castle, England. She immigrated to Lorain in 1923.

Mrs. Kutza was a member of Saint John’s United Church of Christ, Lorain. Who was a loving mother and homemaker. She enjoyed growing tropical plants especially African Violets. Hannah had many pen pals around the world. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting and was an excellent baker.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter Bonnie Leonard of Lorain; son Brian Kutza of Celina, Ohio; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward D. Kutza in 1978; her parents Mathew and Janet Coxon (Née Drummond); daughter Beverly Wright and a sister Janet Coxon.

Her family will receive friends Friday from Noon until time of her funeral service at 2 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164. Rev. Philip Kunz pastor of Saint John’s United Church of Christ, Lorain will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
