Victor L. Espitia, 54, Willl Be Dearly Missed
He was born July 25, 1958 in Lorain and was a life long resident.
Victor graduated from Southview High School, Lorain in 1977. He managed Al, Lou and Jim’s Car Parts II in Avon for 18 years and Murray’s Auto parts for 3 years. Victor was a security patrolman for American Security, Lorain and FEMA in Elyria for 10 years. He also worked for Crown Battery.
Victor was a state tournament winning darts player for Firelands Dart League for 26 Years and Lorain Music Soft Tip League. He enjoyed his kitties and dog, watching Cleveland Indians and the Browns. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, restoring his antique cars and talking to around the world on his HAM radio. Victor was a long time member and volunteer for the Mexican Mutual Club, Lorain and drove his red 1949 Dodge Wayfarer in there annual Cinco de Mayo Parade.
He will be dearly missed by his sisters Vivian J. (Dan) Rutherford and Laura F. Espitia both of Lorain; brother Robert X. (Maria) Espitia of Lorain and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Vincent E. and Laura (nee Dominguez) Espitia and a brother Vincent E. Espitia, Jr.
His family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164, where closing prayers will be Saturday at 8:15 AM then Mass at 9:00 AM in Sacred Heart Chapel, 3401 Pearl Avenue, Lorain, Rev. Father William A. Thaden will officiate.
