Carolyn M. Reiner, 79, Loved Spending Time with Family

Mrs. Reiner was born in Cleveland on April 2, 1933, the daughter of the late Jack and Frances E (nee Black) Newman. She was a graduate of West Tech High School in Cleveland; a member of the Class of 1951.
She was a retired executive secretary with the Lorain County Board of Mental Health. She enjoyed being a member of the YWCA-Swimming Group and of the "Belles" luncheon group.
Her hobbies include reading, swimming, and playing the piano. She also enjoyed the Mighty Goliath Theater Productions at Avon Lake High School. Her most enjoyable time was spent with her family and she loved supporting her children and grandchildren in their athletic endeavors.
Mrs. Reiner is survived by daughters, Kathryn M. (Edward) Reiner-Thomas, Janet L. (David) Glowinski all of Wellington, Ellie F. (Dan) Dudukovich, of Oberlin, sons Daniel A. (Missy) Reiner of Exton, PA, Matthew J. (Debra) Reiner, of Sylvania, 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a sister Jacqueline A. (Gerald) Bambousek of Oxford, MI.
In additioon to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph C. Reiner on December 2, 2009.
Friends may call on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Chaplain Christopher Robinson, chaplain with New Life Hospice, officiating.
Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park Amherst Township.
