Sharol A. Leibas, 64, Will Be Deeply Missed

Photo of Sharol A.  Leibas Sharol A. Leibas (nee Gonzales), 64, of Lorain entered eternal rest surrounded by her family Friday, October 5, 2012 in Cleveland Clinic following a lengthy illness.

She was born July 17, 1948 in Lorain, and graduated from Admiral King High School, in 1967.

Sharol retired as a spot welder in 2011 from R. W. Beckett in North Ridgeville, working there for 19 years. She also worked in the deli department of Gold Circle in Elyria. She was a member of the former Saint Vitus Catholic Church. Sharol enjoyed reading, gardening and cooking, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 40 years Tony Leibas of Lorain and her sons and their wives Manuel A. (Kristie) Leibas and Michael A. (Angie) Leibas both of Lorain, grandchildren Taylor, Julia, Jazmyne, Illiana, Autumn, Dominic and Annee.

She was preceded by her parents Manuel and Anna (nee Majzun) Gonzales and her brother Donald Gonzales.

Her family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164. Where closing prayers will be Wednesday at 9:15 in the funeral home then Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish at Saint John Church, 2143 Homewood Drive, Lorain. Rev. Father John C. Retar pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
