Ira Lee Herron, 60, Loving Father
Ira Lee Herron, 60, of Lorain passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 in Metro Health Center, Cleveland.
He was born October 19, 1951 in Norton, Virginia. Ira came to. Lorain in 1955. He graduated from Avon High School in 1969.
Among the survivors are his son Shane L. Herron of Arizona; daughter Angela Herron of Norton; mother and step-father Billie Jean and Luther Arnold of Lorain; brothers Larry R. and Lukcus W. Arnold both of Lorain, Emery (Karen) Arnold of Nova, Ohio and a sister Diana Olsen of Sheffield Lake.
His family will receive friends Monday from 11 AM until time of his funeral service at 1 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164. Rev. Gary L. Dorsey, pastor of Tower Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
