Marc H. Wyman, 62, Loved to Spend Time with Family

Photo of Marc H.  Wyman Marc H. Wyman, 62 of Lorain passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012 at EMH Regional Medical Center in Elyria following a brief illness.

Mr. Wyman was born on March 13, 1950 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Lorain High School in the Class of 1968. In high school, he was an outstanding football player and wrestler.

As as an active member of the Agudath B'nai Israel Synagogue, he served as president for several terms, as well as serving on the board of education and the board of trustees, helped prepare for the annual bagel brunch, and was a lifelong supporter of the state of Israel. He was also an active member of the Amherst Sportsman Club, serving as Treasurer for many years. His many interests included travelling, motorcycling, automobiles, hunting, white water rafting, science fiction novels, and enjoying the out of doors. The love of his life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Wyman was vice-president of Blue Star Metal Recycling for 24 years. He retired in May of 2012 as a recycling consultant for the Joseph Krash Metals Company in Cleveland, overseeing 4 recycling yards. He then began his own consulting firm Marc Wyman Consulting, LLC.

He is survived by his wife Barbara (Vanauken) Wyman, son Samuel Joseph (Angela) Wyman of Elyria, daughters Tracie (Hipolito) Ramos, Judith Ann Wyman both of Lorain, his father Marvin A. Wyman of Lakeland, FL, grandchildren, Jacob, Alexis, Hunter, Adam, Ethan, Marcus, brother Scott (Diana Wyman of Fort Wayne, IN and a sister Beth (Robert) Tully of Eighty Eight, PA.

He was preceded in death by his mother Muriel B. (Rehm) Wyman in 2010.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain with Cantor David Wolinski, officiating.

Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.

The family suggest that memorial contributions maybe made to the A.B.I. Synagogue Operating Fund, 1715 Meister Road, Lorain, OH 44053.
