Keith P. Chafer, 48, Will Be Deeply Missed
Keith Paul Chafer, 48, lived in Lorain, Ohio and passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Sennelager, Germany on March 27, 1964.
He attended college at the prestigious Royal Navy Trinity House, England, where he graduated with distinction, first in his class. Then he began a career as an engineer with the P & O Company and later joined Princess Cruises.
In January 1989, he joined Spirax-Sarco and moved to Lorain, Ohio, where he worked as a Regional Specialist for the Northwest Region of the U.S. until he retired in 2009 due to ill health. He loved spending time with his family and friends and he enjoyed boating, traveling and Grand Prix racing.
He is survived by his partner, Heather A. Phillips and a large and loving family.
