Rozanne Jones, 68, Dedicated Nurse & Mother
Rozanne Jones, age 68, of Lorain died Thursday, November 15, 2012 at her home.
She was born February 18, 1944 in Wichita, KS and lived most of her life in Lorain.
Rozanne worked as a Registered Nurse at University Hospitals in Cleveland for 25 years, retiring in 2009, prior to that she worked at St. Joseph Hospital in Lorain for 20 years.
Rosanne is survived by her daughter Rebecca Jones and son-in-law Walter Schmitz, of Lorain and her beloved granddaughter Olivia. Survivors also include close family members Virginia Jones, Michael Jones, Joshua and Kari Schmitz, Joseph and Kaylin Schmitz and their two children Anthony and Hayley, and Stephen Schmitz and Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Jane Jones in 1999, mother Mary Jane Smith, father David Alec Philpott, step-father Meade Smith and brothers Edward and Nathan Philpott.
Friends may call Sunday from 5 pm to 8 pm at Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home 2920 Broadway Lorain where funeral services will be Monday at 11 am. Rev. Mr. Lou Maldonado will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
