Robert F. Ziegler, 61, Loving Uncle & Contractor

Bob was born in Amherst on May 11, 1951 and had been a life-long resident of Lorain.

He was a 1969 graduate of Lorain St. Mary High School and went on to attend Lorain County Community College.

A former parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mr. Zieglar had been employed as a foreman for the Lake Terminal Railroad Company; he later worked in the construction industry and was the holder of a general contractor’s license.

He is survived by his brother Donlon J. Ziegler and sister-in-law Patricia residing in Vermilion Township along with one nephew, one niece, and eight great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Mary (nee McKeever) Ziegler.

Graveside services for the family will take place privately in Calvary Cemetery.
