Catherine T. Azzariti, 86, Lover of the Performing Arts

Mrs. Azzariti was born in Boston, MA on December 1, 1925, the daughter of the late Andrew D. and Rose A. (nee Bennett) and Andrew D. Bowes.

She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be remembered for her great Italian dinners. She enjoyed going to the Huntington Playhouse and the Amherst Workshop Players. She enjoyed writing stories and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.

Mrs. Azzariti worked many years ago for JC Penneys and Jaworski Aluminum, but most recently was a homemaker.

She is survived by her twin sons, Paul A. (Mary Dobriwich) Azzariti of Canton, Michigan, Robert J. (Andrea Smith) Azzariti of Lorain, grandchildren Joseph M. Azzariti, Lisa Bird Criswell, and two great grandchildren, Sierra Lynn and Patrick Allen Criswell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 1988 by her husband Robert J. Azzariti, to whom she was wed on July 4, 1947 and a daughter Karen Azzariti in 2004.

Friends may call at the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain in Friday, February 10, 2012 from 4-7 p.m..
Funerals services will be on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:00 am in the funeral home with Father James Ols, pastor of St. Vincent dePaul Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
