Sabina Torres , 62, Nursing Assistant

She was born June 16, 1949 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. She had been a Lorain resident for the past 26 years.

Sabina worked for Bradley Bay Healthcare Center in Bay Village for 11 years and Lorain Manor Nursing Home in Lorain for 15 years as an State Tested Nursing Assistant. She was a member of Iglesia De Dios Inc. Lorain.

Dearly missed by her sons Isaias (Yolanda) Torres, Jr. of Lorain and Alexander (Angie) Torres of Mesa, Arizona; daughter Elizabeth Torres Deland, Florida; step mother Medelica Esquilian de Soto of Fort White, Florida; brothers Gamaliel Soto of Lorain, Benjamin Soto of Fajardo, Puerto Rico, David, Samuel, Elias, Eduardo and Javier Soto all of Fort White, Florida; sisters Ruth and Nelida Soto both of Fort White, Elizabeth and Mildred Soto both of Gary Indiana; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Eduardo Soto and Eladia Rodriguez; son Benjamin Torres; daughter Margaria Torres; brother Rafael Soto; sister Rachel Soto; grandfather Vicente Soto, grandmother Margaria Reyes and former husband Isaias Torres, Sr. of Fajardo.

Her family will receive friends Friday from 5 until time of service at 7 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain (440) 277-8164. Her funeral service will be Saturday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Rev. Jose Ramos co-pastor of the Iglesia De Dios Inc. Lorain will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill memorial Park, Amherst Township.
