Beth A. Sadowski, 47, Ultimate Fighter
She was born January 29, 1965 in Toledo and had resided in Avon Lake for the past 22 years.
Beth grew up in Toledo, attended DeVeaux Elementary School and Roy C. Start High School in Toledo where she graduated in 1983. She attended Bowling Green State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education.
Beth worked at First Merit Bank in Avon Lake as a teller for 13 years. She also worked at Meritain Health as a claims processor and secretary for 5 years.
Beth enjoyed walking, being outdoors, being by the lake, dancing, playing cards, attending her daughters sporting events, spending time with family and friends and vacationing at her family cabin in Black Lake, Michigan.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years Dale Sadowski, daughters Alison and Anna Sadowski, both at home, parents John and Barbara Klopfenstein (nee Walker) of Toledo, sisters Pam (Rick) Swart of Thornville, Ohio and Kim (Dwayne) Woodbury of Englewood, Ohio, brother Sean (Andrea) Klopfenstein of Loveland, Ohio, several nieces and nephews and mother-in-law Theresa Sadowski of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law Edward Sadowski.
A memorial service will be held Saturday September 1, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Bay Presbyterian Church, 25415 Lake Rd, Bay Village. The Rev. Dan Edgerly will officiate. Dale, Alison and Anna request that all attendees’ wear a shade of blue since that is Beth’s favorite color.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain.
