He is survived by his children, Nancy Gutierrez�(James Hathaway), David Gutierrez (Trish), James Andrew Gutierrez, John Gutierrez (Yvonne) and Mary Gutierrez: grandchildren, Margaret Hathaway, Hannah Hathaway, Elizabeth Hathaway, James Andrew Gutierrez II, Matthew Gutierrez, Nicholas Gutierrez and Alexis Gutierrez: sisters, Linda Ridenour and Mary Simpson: brothers, Jesus Gutierrez and Joseph Gutierrez.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret D. (nee:Dattilo): parents, Viviano Gutierrez, Apollonia Trujillo: brother, Anselmo Gutierrez: sister, Lucy Shaw.

The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain (440) 244-1961 on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 5-8 PM. Closing prayers will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 8:50 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 9:30 AM at St. Peter Church, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, Fr. Bob Lorkowski, officiating. Interment Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
