Javier Castro, 48, Will Be Dearly Missed

Photo of Javier Castro Javier Castro, 48, of Lorain, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic Wednesday, January 30, 2013 of a brief illness.

He was born August 7, 1964 in Lorain. Javier graduated from Lorain High School in 1982. He was a chef at T.G.I Friday in Parma for 12 years. Javier was a bible student of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was an athlete with a selfless love for his family and a passion for cooking and watching sports.

Javier will be dearly missed by his parents Benjamin and Maria (nee Bermudez) Castro of Lorain; brothers Benjamin Castro Jr., Mike (Rose) Castro and Albie Castro all of Lorain; 3 nephews, 4 nieces, and 1 great niece.

He was preceded in death by his sister Maria I. Deleon.

His family will receive friends Wednesday, February 6 from 4 until time of his funeral service at 7:30 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain. Bro. Jim Drysdale elder of the Jehovah’s Witnesses will officiate. Private burial will be held at a later date.

Visitation, Wed. Feb. 5 from 4 until time of service at 7:30 PM in Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain.
