Esther E. Sciulli, 91, Will be Deeply Missed

Photo of Esther E. Sciulli Esther E. Sciulli, (nee Lee), age 91, of Lorain, passed away on the morning of March 13, 2013 while a resident of the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph. She was born in Elyria on March 16, 1921 and had been a resident of Lorain since 1939.

Esther was a parishioner of the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Lorain . In her free time she enjoyed camping, travel, and all forms of crafts

Survivors include her sons Mark (Jo Ellen) Sciulli of Lorain and Anthony (Karen) Sciulli of Glendale, Arizona, daughters Nadine (Grant) Sandrew of Vermilion, as well as Donna Truxell and Karen (Dan)LaBella both of Lorain . She also leaves eight grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel in 1997, by her daughter Carol Minnich, by her grandson Ed Minnich, by her parents Reginald and Wallie (nee Telzerow) Lee, and by her sister Cleo White.

Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue , Lorain . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 16th at 11:00 a.m. in the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Avenue . (Please meet at the church.) The Reverend Craig M. Hovanec, Pastor of the parish will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery .

The family encourages memorial contributions to either The Catholic Church of St. Peter, the Activities Fund at Kingston of Vermilion, or to the New Life Hospice.
