Yolanda Gonzalez Colon, 40, Will be Deeply Missed
Yolanda Gonzalez Colon, 40, of Lorain went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born September 29, 1972 in Chicago and was raised in Puerto Rico. She moved to Lorain in 2004 from San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico.
Yolanda worked for the Johnson and Johnson Company in Puerto Rico. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, and the love of her family.
She will be dearly missed by her brother Edwin Gonzalez Cortes of Chicago; sisters Maribel (John Freddy) Cortez, Migdalia (Angel) Rivera both of Chicago and Maria S. (Jessie) Arroyo of Lorain; sister-in-law Maria Gonzalez of Chicago; her parents Rafael and Lydia (Née Colon) Gonzalez of Lorain; grand parents Eduardo Colon of Lorain and Maximina Prado of Lorain and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her grand parents Celedonia Luna and Antonio Gonzalez.
Her family will receive friends Monday from 4 until time of service at 7 PM in Iglesia Cristiana Pentecostal Asamblea de Dios, 301 West 22nd Street, Lorain. Her funeral service will be Tuesday at 10 AM in the church. Reverend Luis Cintron, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
