Josefina Rodriguez, 70, Will be Deeply Missed
Josefina Rodriguez (née Morales), 70, of Lorain passed away Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born March 9, 1943 in Orocovis, Puerto Rico. She lived in Trenton, New Jersey for eleven years before moving to Lorain in 1976.
Josefina was an active member of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain, she was an Eucharistic Minister, Alter Server and a kitchen helper. Josefina was also a member of the churches’ Renovacion Carismatica, Saint Vincent DePaul Society and Prayer Ministry.
She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 46 years, Angel Rodriguez of Lorain; daughters Vivian Rodriguez of Avon and Sandra Rodriguez of Lorain; brothers Raymond and Eduviges Morales both of Trenton, New Jersey, Candido Morales of Miami, Florida and Juan Morales of Orocovis; sisters Aida Morales and Francisca Rosin Rodriguez both of Trenton and grandchildren Aaron Martinez and Adryan Rodriguez.
Josefina was preceded in death by her parents Eduviges and Josefa (née Rupert) Morales; brothers Jose and Sixto Morales and sisters Andrea and Tita Morales.
Her family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, where closing prayers will be Thursday at 8:45 AM then Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Father William A. Thaden, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
