David R. Kaleel, 75, U.S. Army Veteran

He was born October 11, 1938 in Elyria and had resided in Lorain most of his life.

David served with the US Army in the 101st Airborne Division.

He retired from CEI where he worked as a transmission lineman.

David enjoyed tinkering with clocks and small engines.

He is survived by his son Dave M. Kaleel, granddaughter Karmen Kaleel and brother Joseph Kaleel. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Kaleel (nee Williams) in 2005, parents Mousa and Dorothy Kaleel (nee Russell) and sisters Gemela Archer and Sylvia Kaleel.

Cremation services will be provided by the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. No funeral services are planned.
