Carol Lynn Snyder, 68, Enjoyed Crafts, Sudoku, and Volunteer Work

Photo of Carol Lynn Snyder Carol Lynn Snyder (nee Ransom), 68, of Amherst, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013 at New Life Hospice Residential Center, Lorain, following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Snyder was born January 3, 1945, in Lansing MI to the late Howard E. and Vivian E. (nee Snyder) Ransom.

She worked at Ionia County National Bank in Ionia, MI, Croghan Colonial Bank in Fremont, Payment Systems in Bay City MI, and Burlington Coat Factory, in Burlington NJ until her retirement in 2004 after 18 years. She enjoyed crafts, cross stitch, making Christmas ornaments, made purses, made jewelry, and sudoku. She also was a member of the Silver Sneakers Exercise Club, volunteered at St. Nicholas Byzantine Church and at Second Harvest.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 40 years, James D. Snyder; brothers, Ronald Ransom and Donald (Janice) Ransom both of Ionia MI; brother and sister in-law, Michael (Judith) Naymik of Amherst Twp; and several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 10, 2013, from 4-8 pm at Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 West 5th St., Lorain, OH, 44052.

Funeral services will be Tuesday June 11, 2013, at 10:00 am, at Heritage Presbyterian Church, 515 N Leavitt Road, Amherst, OH, with Rev. Adrienne Lloyd officiating.

Burial will be at Ridge Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
