Theresa Bialorucki, 89, Enjoyed Traveling and Playing Bingo

Photo of Theresa Bialorucki Theresa “Tess” Bialorucki (nee Urbanski), 89, of Lorain, died Sunday June 9, 2013 at St. Mary of the Woods in Avon after a short illness.

She was born May 3, 1924 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Tess graduated from Lorain High School.

She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain and the church Altar & Rosary Society.

Tess enjoyed traveling and playing bingo. For many years, she volunteered with the Lorain RSVP and Lorain County Blood Bank.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years Chester S. “Chet” Bialorucki, stepchildren: Mary Jo LaLonde (David) of Berea, John Bialorucki (Sue) of Sandusky, Joyce Berner (Rusty) of Avon Lake, Kathy Chopcinski (Gary) of North Ridgeville and Helen Taylor (Tom) of Columbus, sister Esther Sofranko of Florida and niece Kathy Polosky of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her first husband Fred Albright, parents Joseph and Lucille Urbanski (nee Jaworski) and sister Gertrude in infancy.

The family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain where the Nativity Church Altar & Rosary Society will recite the Rosary Prayer Wednesday at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30 am in the funeral chapel followed by the mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1454 Lexington Ave, Lorain. The Rev. Robert Glepko, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
