Marcolina Serrano, 80, Enjoyed Sewing, Knitting, Crocheting, Dancing, and Music

She was born April 25, 1933 in Humacao, Puerto Rico. She came to Lorain in 1950. Marcolina was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of Sacred Heart Chapel, Lorain, and the Cursillo movement. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, dancing and music. She was a happy and contented person.
She will be deeply missed by her sons John (Tammi) Serrano of Texarkana, Arkansas, Agripino Serrano, Jr. of Parma, Michael (Lisa) Serrano of Coshocton, Angel and Benjamin Serrano both of Columbus; daughter Alicia Serrano of Lorain; sisters Gladys and Ida Rodriguez both of Wilmington, Delaware and Gude Rodriguez of Humacao; 15 grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Agripino Serrano, in 1994; her parents, Genaro and Juanita (n�e Morales) Rodriguez; and a brother, Hector Rodriguez.
Her family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, Ohio. Visitation will also be Wednesday from 8:30 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in Sacred Heart Chapel, 4301 Pearl Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Father William A. Thaden, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
