Beverly Ann Duncan, 72, Will be Deeply Missed

Photo of Beverly Ann Duncan Beverly Ann Duncan, age 72 of Lorain, died Tuesday June 25, 2013 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born December 17, 1940 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident.

Beverly had worked in the kitchen at Durling Elementary School for several years. She is a member of VFW Post 451, and was instrumental in founding the Lorain County Chapter of Mother’s Against Drunk Drivers. She thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren and her pets.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ronald, along with daughters Beverly Ann (Tony) Hawks of Elyria, and Sharon Marie (Scott) Novak of Elyria, and a son Ronald Earl Duncan Jr. of Lorain, grandchildren Danielle Marie, and Matthew Aaron (Emily) Hawks, and Sarah Marie and Samantha Ann Novak, sisters Darlene Brillon of Kentucky, and Marcella Symons of Iowa, and a brother James Dailey of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Lillian Dailey, sisters Shirley Miller and Margaret Rivera, and brothers Donald and Bud Dailey.

Friends may call Thursday from 5 PM to 8 PM at Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral Services will be Friday at 11 AM in the funeral home. Pastor Thom Cody will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
